Coffeewood Buttons

Coffeewood buttons are 100% natural and biodegradable. It is also durable and resilient species of wood, making it an ideal choice as garment buttons. 

 

The material is derived from coffee trees that have lived for over 20 years and no longer produce optimal yield of coffee beans. The careful and sustainable sourcing practice ensures there is minimal impact on the environment, while enabling new coffee plant to sprout and grow. In light of this, rather than disposing the old trees, we are repurposing them into beautiful Coffeewood buttons. This zero waste process, along with the material natural characteristic, aligns perfectly to our sustainable sourcing approach. A new development we are excited to share!
